...how do you get out of that parking spot?
![]() 11/18/2014 at 21:18 |

You don't. The rear bumper is actually pressing on the car behind it.

Last week I watched a woman force her way into a spot, pushing both the car in front and behind.

Freestyles scare me with their CVTs. I'd much more partial to the Taurus X and its more conventional automatic.

Ah, the Freestyle.. AKA Taurus X.
You'd think with such "hip" and "with it" naming it would have been a success.
You'd be wrong of course.

Ouch, that ad is cringeworthy. The car kind of is as well, with its not-quite-a-wagon-not-quite-a-crossover styling. I think it kind of has an identity issue.

Most proto-crossovers are pretty awkward.

My parents have a friend who owns one of these. They aren't terrible from a passenger standpoint. Potentially (and probably) horrible from a driver's standpoint though.

A buddy of mine had one. It was very roomy, and rode nice. Crappy interior finishes of course, and a blah exterior, but still a decent people mover.

Honestly my family used to own one and it was the best thing we ever owned.

One of my former science teacher was a recent divorcee and drove this *mind blown*.

I see a lot of those here in Chicago. I wonder if you could autocross it

...and you had to resurrect it :)

We have a Taurus X with the 3.5 engine. I like it, my wife loves it. Plenty of room inside, with the second row seats folded down it has cavernous cargo room. We bought it new, at 115k miles it has been very dependable. The 3.5 will get it gone in a hurry. I'd buy it again.

Funny, I saw one today (Taurus X). The thing made me do a "Huh, what the fuk did I just see, moment". I had totally forgot they even existed. Glad it has been good to you.

I don't hate it, it would look good lowered though. Are those the original wheels? they look good.
